From the rolling hills of eastern Tuscany, Podere Tovari produces this elegant monocultivar Leccino extra virgin olive oil, crafted from olives grown and harvested within the estat e’s own groves. Carefully selected and brought to the UK by Amore GNA Wines, it reflects the character of the land and the care taken at every stage. Leccino is one of Italy’s most widely cultivated olive varieties, prized for its gentle character and consistent quality. At Podere Tovari, early harvesting preserves the freshness of the fruit, resulting in an oil that is light, clean, and beautifully balanced. It has a clear golden colour with a hint of green. The aroma is fresh and delicate, with subtle fruity notes. On the palate, it is smooth and approachable, with a mild sweetness up front, followed by a gentle bitterness and a light peppery finish that adds just enough structure. This is a refined, versatile oil designed to complement rather than dominate. Perfect for everyday use, it works effortlessly across a wide range of dishes, from salads and vegetables to fish and lighter meats. Produced on a small, organic estate where quality comes before quantity, this Leccino reflects the quiet precision and care of Podere Tovari, an oil that is honest, elegant, and true to its origin.
