A hand-carved olivewood bowl with a matching condiment spoon and olive pick—a complete three-piece service for presenting table olives. A Complete Olive Service Designed to make olives feel at home on the table, this set brings together a generous live-edge bowl, a small spoon for warm or herb-dressed olives and their seasonings, and a classic olive pick for serving individual fruit. The bowl was selected to hold approximately 20 ounces of drained olives—roughly the contents of two typical grocery-store jars. It is ample enough for a convivial table without becoming cumbersome. The set is shown with our Warm Herbed Olives. The spoon is useful for serving the herbs, aromatics, and warm oil, while the pick makes individual olives easy to lift from the bowl. Shaped by the Olive Tree Each bowl is carved from a single piece of sustainably sourced North African olivewood and follows the natural live edge of the tree. Areas of bark may remain intact or give way to the lighter wood beneath, while the rim rises and falls according to the original form of the branch. The matching spoon and pick are also individually carved from olivewood. Natural differences in color, grain, shape, bark, and dimensions are part of the character of the material. No two sets will be exactly alike. Olivewood is dense, durable, and well suited to repeated use at the table. Its close grain takes a smooth finish and reveals an unusually varied pattern of warm gold, brown, and darker veining.
