Saxon Bars are one of the most brutal tests of pinch grip strength. Unlike traditional barbells, the wide rectangular design forces you to grip the flat sides using only your fingers and thumbs, removing any ability to wrap the hand fully around the bar. The Gods Of Grip Olympic Saxon Bar is available in two widths, 60mm for narrower pinch work and 80mm for a wider, more demanding challenge. Both variations are exceptional tools for developing raw pinch strength, thumb power and forearm durability. Designed to fit Olympic weight plates, the Saxon Bar allows progressive loading, making it ideal for structured grip training, max attempts and competition prep. Primarily used for two-hand pinch deadlifts, one of the purest measures of pinch grip strength. The Saxon Bar can also be used for bicep curls, clean and presses, and suitcase deadlifts.
