High potency DHA for supporting mental health Since early research in the 1990s it has been known that omega 3 fatty acids are important for brain health and mental well-being. Unf ortunately good quality, pure omega 3 acids are not readily available from our diets these days and consequently many of us are short of this vital nutrient. There are 2 major active ingredients of omega 3 and these are known as EPA and DHA.
