This is a manual wind Omega chronometer dating from the middle 1940s, featuring a chronometer movement (30T2RG) which was adjusted to keep very precise time. A chronometer is a watch that has passed strict independent tests of the time keeping under controlled conditions for a period of several days. The 30T2RG movement is beautifully finished - the components are wonderfully polished and bevelled. The dial is in excellent condition with no significant losses and the original metallic printing in the Roman numerals still glints as it catches the light. The watch has been fully serviced and regulated and performance is excellent.
