Look out for a cool piece from your favorite brand or surprise a watch-loving friend with a well loved piece of vintage advertising from the golden age of watchmaking — you can’t go wrong with these fabulous horological finds! This particular object is a vintage box from an Omega Flightmaster. Released in 1969, the Flightmaster is one of the most comprehensive pilot’s watches ever designed, with a main time display, an independently adjustable 12-hour hand for the display of a second time zone, an internal rotating bezel, and dual-register chronograph. Made specially for pilots, it’s an incredible, no-holds-barred mechanical marvel that continues to impress collectors today! Measuring 3.5” x 3.5” x 3.25” and made of wood and leather, the box is signed “flightmaster” on the lower portion in black against a white background, while the upper section displays photographs of the Flightmaster throughout against a blue background. Open the box, and an inner cardboard insert is ready to cradle your vintage Flightmaster. Regardless of whether you own the aforementioned watch, this awesome vintage box is a wonderful design object for the Omega lover. Perch it on a shelf or desk to show off your Omega loyalty!
