Once contact is made, mite feeding stops, egg-laying decreases and a slow, fatal paralysis occurs. Mite controlMite adults and nymphs are usually controlled within five to seven days after treatment. New hatchings of mites are also controlled in a few days. Since Omite is gentle on beneficial insects and mite predators, they are left to clean up stragglers and feed on newly hatched nymphs. Use Omite earlyEarly treatment of low-level populations is recommended as the most effective means of control. Ideal for IPMOmite is specific to mites and doesn't affect bees, predator mites or beneficial insects, and is therefore ideal for integrated pest management programs.
