Rubber feet on the bottom dampen vibrations to preserve audio quality and also prevent skidding on smooth flooring to keep the stand firmly in position. A clothespin-style dynamic-mic clip is included and the upper shaft also accepts other standard-threaded mic clips, shock mounts, and microphone accessories including booms. The height adjusts from 25" to 66" to suit the requirements of projects in a variety of settings including recording studios and live-performance venues. For compact storage and efficient transportation, the upper shafts slide inside the lower shaft and the entire shaft detaches from the base.
