On the Table is a brand new 36 page riso zine from Ezra Tatton exploring themes of transition, decay, change, surgery, community, control, queerness, gender and eroticism, using cannibalism as a metaphor for intense, all consuming feelings. Ezra developed his solo exhibition and this accompanying zine over Early Summer 2026 as part of his residency at Out of the Blueprint. "This exhibition explores my thoughts and feelings around top surgery through a fictional cannibalistic dinner party, where I serve the medical waste “meat” to my transexual friends. For me the dinner party is so much about community and giving back to the people that have helped me and supported me, giving them a part of me. When recovering from top surgery my friend and boyfriend had to look after me and cook all my meals. So to take a part of my body that has caused me pain and discomfort, and to make that into food and nourishment is a way of saying thanks. The dinner party is both a celebration and a way to dispose of a part of me."
