His fascination with faded text and vintage advertisements began during these travels, influencing his innovative use of typography in art. A first-class honours graduate in General Illustration, Butler draws inspiration from Impressionist masters like Monet and Cézanne, as well as contemporary artists such as Luke Martineau and Andrew Hood. His works offer a delightful blend of tradition and modernity, celebrating the charm of everyday moments with humour and artistry.
