As the oldest of six and the father of four, having lost my Dad when I was 27, I would have to say I've been through the school of hard knocks and in a position to be a friend, helper, mentor guide, coach, to people moving along the path of their life, interested in moving away from a life of quiet desperation and winging it, ready to make course corrections in the direction of their best self and living a rich meaningful life. They say that we are the average of the five people that we most hang around with and my thought would be that including me in that group of 5, could be a step in the direction of changing the five people that you are hanging around with.
