The Sandfly Pro Tarp is the lightest of our flies, perfect for providing essential weather protection (3000mm L by 3000mm W) with less weight and bulk. It weighs just 445 grams with guy lines, or 555 grams including six pegs. Made from 15 D nylon with a sil/PU coating, the material has a 1200 mm water head and is seam sealed in the factory. At three metres square, this tarp is an ample size for one and a tidy fit for a small party. A convenient, quick to assemble shelter, this fly can be a lunchtime hideaway, a large tent entrance, dining hall or an all-in-one ultralight shelter. It can be pitched with trekking poles, paddles or branches, and our guy-line adjusters make pitching without pegs easy. Dynamic FlyThe 15 D, dynamic nylon fabric was developed to balance light weight, performance and durability. It’s designed to protect you in all weather – sun, rain, sleet or snow – with a sil/PU coating and a water head of 1200 mm, non PFC, and has been completely factory seam sealed. Squared ShapeThe Sandfly Pro Tarp is our most dynamic, versatile option. It’s a perfect square, at three metres a side: ample for one and tidy for a small party. Its design gives plenty of options, giving adaptability in pitching style and location. We’ve reinforced the ridgeline with a double-stitched, seam-sealed hem for maximum strength and usability, with guy line points that are reinforced and strategically positioned. Guy LinesOur guy lines and adjusters are seriously good, versatile and functional. The adjusters are flat and ultra-tough, simply loop them around a peg rock, or branch and tighten, locking off if necessary. The reflective cord is visible in the dark, useful for preventing late-night stumbles and in emergency situations. Guy lines can be stored neatly into their pockets when not in use: another example of attention to detail, simplified. VersatilityFlies are designed to be wonderfully versatile while giving shelter from the sun and rain.
