A Threadless, no tap install option that lets you store the EDC V2 Tool inside your stem/steerer tube without threading your steerer tube. The Threadless Carrier replaces your star nut and lets you preload your headset with a bolt, while also creating a space for the EDC Tool. Easy to install in less than 10 minutes. This is the carrier only. The EDC V2 Tool is sold separately Who's this item for: Riders that don't want to have to tap a thread on their steerer tube in order to install the EDC Tool. Tool Compatibility: Compatible with EDC V2 Tool only (You must use the small EDC V2 Storage Capsule with the Threadless Carrier.) The tyre plug and bacon strips fit within the small storage capsule. Chain pliers are not compatible with the threadless carrier setup. The EDC Threadless Carrier is NOT compatible with V1 EDC Tools (Green Multi-Tool) Incompatible forks: Fox 38 with oval steerer (will need to tap a thread in the steerer and use the standard EDC installation), RockShox 35 Forks (Gold, Silver etc), Giant Overdrive 2 Forks. For the following cases, your fork steerer tube length must meet the minimum length requirement.
