Rigidity for seismic resistance The P-80 housing consists of two aluminium side panels and a steel top panel. This three-piece housing construction increases rigidity and improves seismic resistance. The “oval chassis” with oval press lines strengthens the bottom surface and disperses vibration for altogether improved sound quality. Further distortion reduction Hi-fi grade terminals, quality capacitors, and rigid front panels further reduce vibration and signal degradation. You have more control over your audio playback in terms of bass, treble, volume, and more. When Fidelity IQ (Auto Loudness function) is turned on, the system automatically provides optimal audio playback according to any volume in conjunction with the master volume. (This function operates independently of Tone Control and can be used in conjunction with Tone Control. Parameters are generated for the viewing environment using the setup microphone during initial setup.) But this Auto Loudness feature goes beyond correcting loudness characteristics.
