A real little leaf (from the mountains of Barcelona) was transformed into sterling silver using the lost wax casting technique. I soldered it on a back plate, which was given a subtle volume. The leaf is beautifully detailed and makes my heart beat faster when I look at it! The back plate was given a brushed finish, adding some soft shine. It was soldered to a sturdy D shaped silver gauge.
