Mài Lamp is a modular lighting system designed to radically reduce waste in sheet-based manufacturing. Inspired by the principles of origami, this versatile design allows the Mài Lamp to take shape gracefully across a variety of mediums, from stainless steel and aluminum to copper and traditional dó paper. In this special collaboration with The OOM, we introduce the Mài Lamp in wood veneer. This delicate material brings a grounded warmth and organic texture to the lamp's architectural structure, honoring the natural grain of the wood while beautifully pushing its flexible boundaries. Formed into a striking, flower-like silhouette, the Mài Lamp actively sculpts light within your space. As the bulb glows, the curving, petal-like planes of the veneer softly diffuse the brightness while casting rhythmic shadows across the walls. Functional, sustainable, and sculptural, it transforms an everyday light source into a statement piece that brings an intentional ambiance to any room.
