Type: Still white wine Origin: Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy Grape: 85% Nuragus di Cagliari DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) 15% Malvasia di Cagliari DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) Year: 2023 Volume: 75cl ABV: 12.5% Allergens: Contains sulphites Producer: Fratelli Traverso Cantina Tasting: Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. Goes well with: Malvasia is often referred to as a 'contemplative wine' – it can be enjoyed entirely on its own with a good book or a view! But blended here with Nuragus, the lovely balance of acidity and sweetness make Alys a very versatile companion. An ideal aperitif, it goes well with seafood pasta and risotto, grilled fish, white meats, young and semi-aged cheeses. Serving: Lightly chilled. What's special?: This vineyard was established by young people to preserve Sardinia's indigenous grape varieties. They make only 3,000 bottles of this wine a year. Please note: We have very limited availability of this wine. The new vintage is available to pre-order for delivery in November 2025. Contact us to find out more.
