Open Circuit is the first image in my Boundaries series, and what grabbed me immediately was its simplicity. A single dark line sits against this incredible field of orange and gold, forming an almost complete square—but not quite. That small opening changes everything. Your eye wants to close the shape, but the landscape doesn't. I love finding geometry like this from above. It looks deliberate and incredibly precise, yet viewed without context it becomes something much more abstract. The strong black line, the intense colour and that one small break were enough. It didn't need anything else. Open Circuit begins my Boundaries series, exploring the lines, divisions and geometric forms I find across the landscape when viewed from above. Interior Design Suggestions Open Circuit is bold, graphic and very different from my softer aerial work. The rich orange and gold make an immediate statement, while the dark geometric line gives the image a strong contemporary edge. It would work particularly well in interiors using charcoal, black, warm timber, concrete, stone or crisp white. Because the composition is so simple, I think this image could be very strong at a large scale. It doesn't rely on tiny detail to hold attention—the colour and geometry do the work from across the room. It would suit contemporary living spaces, entrances, offices, boardrooms and commercial interiors particularly well. I can also see the Boundaries series working extremely effectively as a group where several pieces are required for one space.
