Each summer, senior coaches for SCFC volunteer to run a weeklong summer camp in Crafton Heights. Your donation will support the cost of that camp (drinks, snacks, shirts, insurance). About Open Field International: Open Field is a 501.c.3 nonprofit organization that exists to improve the lives and future of youth through sport. “Sport has the power to change the world.” For us and the communities we work in, that sport is soccer (or football, depending where you are). A safe space for youth to play and learn We partner with community stakeholders to provide programs for youth that combine soccer with life skills development and social emotional learning. Our coaches are trained to utilize a healing-centered, trauma-informed approach. Championing the cause of Sport for Good Since 2010, Open Field has facilitated transformational experiences for youth using an innovative Sport-Based Youth Development approach that meets young people where they are.
