In his debut release for ec2a, he turns in a restless EP of two heavy hitters, each backed by their own remixes from Jossy Mitsu and Mia Koden. “DL Underground” drips with Eski influence and the clang of construction cranes duking it out, while Mitsu’s remix flips it into a weighty, bassy demolition job with claps as punchy as a Nadal backhand. “Precision” slots in a nonsensical vocal sample like it’s no big deal and just as you expect the beat to hit, ADHD throws down frazzled electronics to fry your brain. Mia Koden’s “resize” completely inverts the tune, blowing it wide open with leaner drums and a haunting, vintage dubstep atmosphere. The kicks hint at Baltimore club, while the eerie key samples are stitched together as though Todd Edwards has turned vampiric.
