500 CPR optical encoder with index pulse. There is an encoder mounted on both the X and Y motors that report their position back to the control box. Hex wrench for installation is included. Signs of failure include not keeping track of the position accurately or at all. REPLACEMENT REQUIRES A SKILLED MECHANIC. NO WARRANTYInstructions will be emailed when your order is shipped. Please familiarize yourself with them before attempting to replace. The video manual contains more information in Chapter 8 as well.
