While the packaging says, “for lunches,” at Balm Box we believe these are the ideal size for chemo port and radiation-sized burns. The sweat-free ice packs do not leave damp marks on clothes. Dry cuticles can be especially itchy and painful. This cuticle oil nourishes dry, cracked skin. Made with a combination of safe, sustainable, organic, and natural ingredients. We love the form factor of these oil "pens" making application super easy without any waste or mess! Botanical Body Cream Some chemotherapy medicines can cause temporary changes to skin, making hands dry, discolored, itchy, red and/or sore. We adore this hand cream from our friends at Polish Your Parts. Knowing chemotherapy can make even light scents unbearable, this scent-free lotion offers quick absorption and a smooth velvety finish. Bergamot Essential Oil & Diffuser Bracelet Some patients have problems with their short-term memory, concentration, and attention span during chemotherapy. Routine tasks can take much longer than usual. This frustrating side effect is often referred to as “Chemo Brain.” According to The Balm Box market research, over 80% of patients experienced this aggravating side effect during their treatment plan. And unlike other side effects like nausea and neuropathy, there really is not a prescription drug treatment option for patients suffering from this dilemma. With both calming and uplifting abilities, Bergamot essential oil is mildly citrusy, pleasant without being overly pungent. It is commonly used to help reduce stress and tension and help with mental clarity. Just dab one or two drops onto the black lava stones on the diffuser bracelet to enjoy the benefits of this unique essential oil. It's a small addition that makes this chemo treatment care package stand out from generic gift baskets. *Bracelet decorative stone colors may vary. *Bracelet decorative stone colors may vary.
