The Yellowline Goby is an excellent choice for reef aquariums thanks to its attractive coloration, peaceful nature, and active behavior. Their bright yellow striping provides a striking contrast against rockwork and corals, helping them stand out despite their small size. These gobies spend much of their day perched on rocks, coral branches, and other elevated areas while observing activity throughout the aquarium. As a captive-bred ORA specimen, this fish is typically hardier, less stressed, and more accustomed to prepared foods than many wild-caught alternatives. Behavior & Husbandry Yellowline Gobies are active perchers that enjoy spending time among rockwork and coral structures. Their small size and peaceful demeanor make them excellent additions to nano reefs, mixed reefs, and larger community aquariums. They coexist well with most peaceful reef fish and invertebrates and rarely show aggression toward tankmates. A covered aquarium is recommended, as gobies may jump when startled.
