This is an abstract painting using the color orange as the main color. With my abstract art collection, I am exploring color, texture, shape and mark-making. Acrylic paint on canvas, dimensions: 20 inches x 20 inches, 50.8 cm x 50.8 cm. I love to paint abstract intuitive art, where I just listen to music and paint however I am feeling. Sometimes I have ideas that form the basis of the colors or shapes (like flowers or certain colors I want to paint together) but many times I just start painting and see where that takes me. I love the freedom of beginning an abstract painting. *Note: I leave the sides (edges) of my paintings unfinished, I also do not varnish my paintings (I avoid adding any unnecessary chemicals to any of my work). Finally, I do not have any hanging wire on the back of the paintings so that when purchased, the owner can easily have them framed or display them the way they prefer.
