The Getaway Driver is an amp-in-a-box pedal with just three dials—volume, bite and gain—that adds vintage vibe to any amp, and really shines on a clean channel or as a clean boost pushing an amp into classic overdrive. Its Class A, single-ended JFET gain structure behaves just like a valve amp, voiced after a cranked, modded ’70s valve amp: run it at 9V for EL84 character, or 12V for an EL34 flavour. The pedal features the same transparent, buffered output used on the Orange Two Stroke and Kongpressor pedals.
