Orange Mountain Daisy (Hymenoxys hoopesii), also called Orange Sneezeweed or Helen’s Flower, brings a bold splash of warm color to mountain-inspired landscapes. Its large, daisy-like blooms stand out with rich orange tones that seem to glow in summer sunlight, making it an eye-catching addition to wildflower gardens, native plantings, or pollinator-friendly spaces. Despite its vibrant look, it has a relaxed, natural feel that pairs beautifully with grasses and other perennials. Well adapted to higher elevations, this hardy perennial thrives in sunny spots with well-drained soil and doesn’t demand constant attention once established. It’s a great option if you’re aiming for a resilient, lower-water garden that still feels lively and full of seasonal color. Pollinators will flock to it, while deer tend to leave it alone, making it as practical as it is striking. Previously classed as: Dugaldia hoopesii and Helenium hoopesii
