A gentle cichlid, the Orange Shoulder Severum (Heros sp. Rotkeil) tries to get along with most everything... that doesn't fit in its mouth. Just keep in mind that they grow up to a maximum size of 10". When mature, they have a spectacular reddish-orange band that wraps around their neck region, hence their other name the Necktie Severum. They also have stunning burnt-orange colored eyes. The first photo is of an adult fish, while the other photo and video are of the 3" fish we have for sale.
