The Orbea Orca OMR Frameset is engineered for climbers who refuse to compromise between light weight and rigid efficiency. At just 1,030 grams, the OMR carbon monocoque frame delivers the responsive, agile handling that defines the Orca line while maintaining the stiffness required for powerful pedaling on steep terrain. This is climbing technology, a frameset designed to change how you reach the top. Achieving Orca's legendary light weight required obsessive attention to marginal gains and careful detail work throughout the design. Every element serves a purpose: minimal seat clamp and derailleur hanger designs reduce unnecessary weight while looking sharp; carefully engineered tube intersections eliminate spaces where excess epoxy can gather; and size-tuned carbon layup ensures every Orca frameset feels identical regardless of size. The result is a frameset that weighs remarkably little without sacrificing the rigidity demanded by the strongest climbers. The key to Orca's performance lies in its philosophy: stiff where it counts, light where it matters. The Powerspine technology reinforces the lower spine of the frame to handle torsional and lateral loads, ensuring that power transfers instantly from pedal stroke to rear wheel. Slim, round frame profiles offer natural compliance on rough surfaces while maintaining pedaling efficiency. The result is an unbeatable lightweight ride feel—instant acceleration on every pedal stroke, responsive agility carving through corners, and effortless climbing prowess without excess inertia. The full carbon OMR ICR fork integrates seamlessly with the frame's geometry, providing responsive handling and consistent control. Versatile 32mm tire clearance acknowledges that speed can also be comfortable, allowing modern riders to benefit from slightly wider tires on imperfect road surfaces. BB386 interface, internal cable routing, Di2 compatibility, and 12mm thru-axles throughout provide a complete modern platform for your complete build. For climbers seeking the purest expression of lightweight efficiency, the Orca OMR Frameset delivers uncompromising performance.
