An unusual statement brooch handmade by Sharon McSwiney. The design is inspired by Troika Pottery & the sculpture of Barbara Hepworth both with very strong links with St Ives. The brooch has been cast in solid brass & decorated with flux, heat & a verdigris effect. The colouration is unique on each piece due to the nature of the application. The brooch is lacquered to protect the surface & should require no cleaning. Please note the colour may vary slightly to the brooch shown as they are individually made. The brooch measures approx 40mm across by 33mm. This design can be worn in different orientations depending on your preference. The piece is supplied in a gift box as shown.
