Orbitone® T Neo is the Takasago version of Iso E Super® and it is the closest single product in chemical makeup to IFF's captive Iso G Super®. The key chemical in Iso G Super is called “Iso Gamma” and in the captive Iso G Super there is 15%. Iso E Super® has 11.7% and Timbersilk® (also from IFF) has 13.5% (with a touch of AmberXTreme as a booster). Orbitone™ T on the other hand has a whopping 14.2%. At the other end of the scale, Sylvamber by DRT has the lowest amount at 9.5% but it is often wrongly lauded due to the higher quantity of the other key isomer called Arborone. Fraterworks is offering this amazing Takasago product for the first time at small retail quantities. We love it and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a variant on the classic Iso E Super profile. In comparison to regular Iso E Super, Orbitone T is more balsamic and creamy. It has an elegance and a sense of space lacking in classic Iso E. It has a more profound transparency and sheerness. Note: In 2026 Takasago have refined their manufacturing process further resulting in this higher purity Orbitone T which they are calling "Orbitone T Neo". It has slightly increased diffusion and sheer beauty but is otherwise the same. This replaces Orbitone T which is no longer being manufactured.
