Etching with aquatint. Edition of 10. 30 x 23 cm. Bespoke hand-painted wooden frame and board with UV 70% anti reflective glass. The Oreads were mountain nymphs. Carefree, emotiona l and beautiful, they hunted in the forests and mountains and were often found (like lots of nymphs) bathing in pools and rivers. This print is inspired by the painting of the same name, by William-Adolphe Bouguereau. Show more
