As a culinary spice, Oregano is so closely related to Marjoram that it is sometimes referred to as Wild Marjoram (it is sometimes used as a substitute, but the taste is slightly sharper & spicier). Ingredients: oregano Common use: Culinary spice; promotes healthy digestion; gas; bloating; upset stomach; sour stomach; supports respiratory health; mild herbal diuretic. Suggested directions: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over ½ to 1 teaspoonful of herb. Allow to steep 4-7 minutes, then strain. Drink 1- 2 cups of tea daily. If desired, add honey and/or lemon to taste.
