Flavour Warming - herbaceous - spicy Provenance We source this oregano from our partner farmers in Sicily, southern Italy. Being such an important ingredient in Italian cuisine, th ere is much debate as to who grows the best oregano in Italy. The Sicilians are adamant it is theirs, and we wouldn't disagree! The hotter, drier weather in southern Italy are perfect growing conditions for oregano. Usage In order to get the best out of our spices, we've included a QR code on the side of the glass jar label. This links back to our website with ancho chilli cooking tips & recipe ideas. The cooking tips give you ideas on how to season your food in different ways with oregano. The recipe ideas focus around seasonal, vegetarian eating to help with a more balanced, sustainable diet. Packaging All spices are available in both glass jars and refill pouches. Packaging is either recyclable or compostable. The refill pouches are the exact same quantity as the jars so you only have to buy the jar once, or not at all if you already have your own. Design The main benefit of buying our glass jars are the QR codes & artwork on the labels which is curated and designed by local Bristol artist & illustrator Hannah Grace.
