Oregano Leaf - Mexican

Oregano is related to the herb Marjoram, but is not as sweet and has a stronger, more pungent flavor and aroma. The Mexican variety is generally used in highly spiced dishes becaus e of its characteristically pungent flavor. Use Mexican Oregano to round out the flavor of egg and cheese dishes. It is great in herb breads, vegetables and stews.
