Key Function Breaks Down Organic Waste – Enzymes digest oils, lotions, sunscreen, cosmetics, and other non-living contaminants chlorine cannot remove Reduces Chlorine Demand – Lowers organic load so free chlorine is used more efficiently and lasts longer Prevents Waterline Buildup – Helps eliminate scum lines, oily residue, and surface film before they accumulate Improves Water Clarity – Supports cleaner water and more effective filtration performance over time No Impact on Water Balance – Does not affect pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, or LSI Universal Pool Compatibility – Safe for chlorine pools, saltwater pools, and salt chlorine generators Designed for Routine Use – Ideal for weekly maintenance in residential and commercial pools Orenda CV-600 Pool Enzymes is a professional-grade enzyme treatment designed to break down non-living organic contaminants commonly found in pool water, including oils, lotions, sunscreen, cosmetics, bather waste, and environmental debris. These contaminants are a major cause of cloudy water, scum lines, and increased chlorine demand. Rather than oxidizing contaminants like chlorine does, CV-600 uses natural enzymatic action to digest organic material continuously. By reducing the organic load in the water, chlorine is able to work more efficiently, resulting in more stable sanitizer levels and improved overall water clarity. CV-600 is a core component of Orenda’s chemistry-first approach to pool care and is widely used by pool professionals as part of routine maintenance programs. Why Enzymes Matter Organic contamination consumes chlorine and contributes to water quality issues. Why this matters: Breaks down oils, lotions, and bather waste Reduces chlorine demand Helps prevent scum lines and cloudy water Improves filter efficiency Supports more stable water chemistry Compatible With All Pool Types Orenda CV-600 is safe for use in chlorine pools, saltwater pools, residential pools, and commercial pools. It is compatible with all pool surfaces, including plaster, fiberglass, vinyl, and tile. This product works alongside your existing sanitation system and does not replace chlorine or other primary sanitizers. Continuous Enzyme Action CV-600 contains a concentrated blend of enzymes that remain active in the water between treatments. This continuous action helps prevent organic buildup before it becomes visible or causes chemical imbalance. Regular use supports clearer water, cleaner filters, and reduced maintenance issues caused by organic contamination. Application & Service Notes Add CV-600 directly to the pool with the circulation system running. It is typically used on a weekly basis as part of a routine maintenance program, with increased dosing recommended after heavy bather load, pool parties, or high sunscreen usage. The product does not affect pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, or stabilizer levels. Always follow Orenda’s dosing instructions based on pool size and conditions.
