Honest Skincare Organic Dried Calendula Petals are 100% pure, grown in New Zealand and certified organic by BioGro. Naturally rich in beneficial plant compounds and antioxidants, c alendula has long been valued for supporting healthy skin and is a versatile addition to natural skincare. Calendula is particularly beneficial for dry, sensitive or irritated skin. Its natural soothing properties may help calm redness and inflammation while supporting the skin's natural healing processes. Regular topical use can help nourish and soften the skin, promote a more even-looking complexion and protect against environmental damage. The antioxidants naturally found in calendula help defend the skin against free radicals that contribute to premature ageing. This makes calendula popular in skincare designed to improve the appearance of fine lines, age spots, uneven skin tone and scars. Our dried calendula petals can be infused into carrier oils such as olive, sweet almond or coconut oil to create a nourishing calendula oil. Use the infused oil directly on the skin or add it to homemade balms, creams, lotions, soaps and other skincare products. Calendula also makes a soothing herbal tea. Add one tablespoon of dried petals to a coffee plunger, cover with boiled water and steep for approximately 10 minutes before straining and drinking. A simple, economical way to enjoy the many benefits of organic calendula. Show more
