Well-known as a medicinal herb, dandelion root is used in folk medicine to help alleviate stomach issues and increase milk flow for nursing mothers. These carefully dried (not roasted) roots yield a medium to thin brew with a clear yellow liquor. Grown in the vibrant Pacific Northwest of the USA, our organic dandelion root has a high oil content that is a noticeable part of the liquor where a lovely swirl coats the top of the brew. Because of this oil content the brew is at once rich and mouth-coating, but also paradoxically thin and light reminding of freshly turned soil.
