A dozen beautiful freshly laid chicken eggs! Colors range in hues of brown with an occasional green egg laid by our Olive Egger hens. Egg size is typically graded large, although there may be an occasional extra-large and/or a medium egg in the carton. Our ladies are raised on an all organic diet of dried greens, field peas, barley, oats, wheat, fish meal, sunflower oil, and receive a daily supplemental boost of herbs, fruits, and vegetables; as well as kelp, flaxseed, ashwaghanda, and grubs! Their diverse food, vitamins, and annual winter rest nurtures our healthy hens to lay delicious eggs with golden rich yolks.
