Toor dal can be also used as a stuffing for sandwiches, sweets and desserts. Recipe Soak the organic toor dal for approximately 20 minutes before cooking. Boil the toor dal in a pressure cooker. Fry chopped onion, green chilli, coriander, garlic, ginger and tomatoes. Mix turmeric powder and cumin in the same. Pour the boiled toor dal in it. Mix it and pour some water. Let the mix boil.
