The ORI series is inspired by Shibori, the ancient Japanese manual resist dyeing technique to create pattern on cloth. These marks were first explored on cloth that I pleated, boun d and dyed in natural indigo. Colours may vary slightly depending on print batch, dye batch or screen settings. Natural variations are part of the inherent beauty in hand printed fabrics.
