Item Name: Origin Bars - Camelot SKU: 7630069 Description: Origin Camelot Bars are solid bars of colored glass formulated for lampworking. Color bars are typically pulled and cast into thicker rectangular sticks that give you more mass than standard rod, making them useful when you need to build larger gathers, pull your own custom stringer, or create larger applications of color without constantly swapping small diameter rod. Camelot is commonly chosen as a rich, earthy tone that can be used as a primary color in beads and small sculpture, or as a grounding color in layered palettes and surface decoration. How it is used: Heat the end of the bar and use it like oversized rod to apply color directly to a bead or sculptural form, then melt smooth and shape as needed. Build a small gather from the bar, then pull custom stringer for fine linework, scrollwork, or controlled color placement. Use the extra mass of the bar for larger wraps, thicker overlays, or when you want to keep heat in the color while you work a bigger section. Combine with clear or other colors for striping, casing, and layered color builds, then anneal as required for the glass type being used.
