There's a certain rigor on display with the Origin Effects Cali76 Stacked Compressor. A dual-stage compressor pedal, this Origin Effects classic effect doubles up (or doubles down?) on compression with cascading compressor effects with deep customization options at hand. Sleek, stylish, and chock full of compressing goodness, the Cali76 Stacked Compressor is a new candidate for your new favorite compressor. The Cali76 Stacked Compressor gives you all the squashed squeaky cleans, slippery slide tones and endlessly sustaining leads of the compressors of your dreams. Based off the compressing character of the iconic Urei 1176, this pedal matches a studio-grade fidelity with its compressing superpowers for enough tonal muscle to completely transform your tone. Take up this version of the Cali76 and start thinking of compression not only as an effect, but a completely new tonal tool. With this version, Origin went ahead with a few redesigns and updates from previous models. For one, the Cali76 Stacked Compressor has a notably smaller footprint than previous versions with a seventeen-percent reduction in size compared to earlier models. This makes the Cali76 a pedal that seamlessly fits into your board. The smaller size of the Cali76 Stacked Compressor is enhanced by Origin's move to change the power requirements of this pedal from 18V to 9V. Where this lands this compressor is in a more standardized power requirement lane, where your standard nine-volt center negative DC power supply will work with it now just fine. Finally, the Cali76 Stacked Compressor's new increased headroom makes the effect cleaner than ever even on the highest of compressed settings. As one of the pedal world's standby compressor models, the Cali76 turns a new leaf with the Stacked Compressor model. Scoop one up and get compressed! Dual-stage cascading compression effect Dry signal level control mix Individual LED gain reduction indicators for each compressor Ultra-high input impedance High-quality buffered bypass switching Independent controls for each compressor stage Reduced enclosure size Standard nine volt center negative power operation Designed and built in England
