How Origin Systems Work Your plants sit over a tank that contains your nutrient solution. The nutrient solution is pumped up and drip-irrigated to the plants growing in pots on the top tray. Run-off leaving the pot then trickles back into the tank, ready for recirculation. They’re simple to set up and use – you can’t get it wrong. If you need to water less frequently – every other day, for instance – you'll require a more advanced timer than a regular 24-hour model. The Time-R is ideal for the job, as it allows you to choose longer intervals and space out feeding.
