The female body is not a problem to be solved. ORIGIN is built from coarse brique clay, coiled by hand into rounded, full forms inspired by ancient vessels. Every curve is deliberate, while bumps, marks and irregularities are allowed to remain exactly as they emerge. The forms reflect the female body as it actually is: soft, substantial, imperfect and strong. The curves and fullness we are often taught to minimise or hide are given space instead — celebrated rather than corrected. ORIGIN is a tribute to the body in its natural form. A reminder that what we have been taught to see as imperfect can be exactly what gives something its beauty, presence and character.
