Crafted from high-end anodised aluminium, the RIMOWA Original Cabin Optical redefines boundaries by creating the illusion of the iconic grooves disappearing. This dynamic shimmerin g effect, where the grooves appear to shift with changes in viewing angles and light reflections, is achieved by a selective brushing treatment on RIMOWA's signature material. The optical motif continues inside the case, with the lining featuring a jacquard wherein the optical geometric pattern is woven into the fabric itself. Each suitcase is numbered out of 2002 limited-edition pieces, a number chosen for its palindromic reference to the art of perception.
