Every year millions of Muslims travel from all corners of the World to perform pilgrimage at the Holy Kaaba for Hajj. The Prophet Muhammad said in his last sermon at the very same spot : " All man kind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a Non Arab nor a Non Arab over an Arab.Also a white has no superiority over a Black nor a black has any superiority over a white except by piety." Diversity and Equality are celebrated in the Quran in numerous places: وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَانِكُمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّلْعَالِمِينَ And among His Signs (is the) creation (of) the heavens and the earth, and the diversity (of) your languages and your colours. Indeed, in that surely (are) Signs for those of knowledge. (Quran 30:22) And: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ "O mankind! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female and We made you nations and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, (the) most noble of you near Allah (is the) most righteous of you Indeed, Allah (is) All-Knower, All-Aware." ( Quran: 49:13) Show more
