I can’t help but love these magical, super-intelligent creatures. I have befriended a few over the last few years and have learnt like us, they have their own personalities. Some are bolder than others. This one was quite shy, hiding in its den and peering through the seaweed. Their bright white eyes and brightly coloured orange underside of their tentacles give them away. When drawing this one I felt it needed a touch of colour to show which species of Octopus it was.
