I am always inspired by the unique colours of the Upper Wharfedale landscape. From the cosy valleys tapestried with farmland and drystone walls, to bleak unforgiving moorland and i mposing limestone crags. While many visitors come to see it in the warm summer months, few venture to experience the the candyfloss-pink autumn sunsets, the wildness of the grey winter, and joyful first greens of spring. Each landscape is completely unique. Fabrics and papers are hand-dyed and/or printed first, then shaped and stitched together into the mount. Finished with hand-embroidered flowers or plants in the foreground. Signed and framed in a rustic wooden box frame. Frame size 230x230mm Show more
