Orangerie V A joyful celebration of citrus, light, and timeless interiors, Orangerie No. V is an original oil painting by Arden Upton featuring expressive brushwork, luminous oranges, and fresh botanical greens floating against a soft blue sky. Painted in rich oils on gallery-wrapped canvas and presented in a custom gold floating frame, this large-scale original was created to bring warmth, optimism, and effortless elegance into the home. First unveiled at the Windwood Equestrian Designer Luncheon in October 2025, this painting was intentionally held back from public sale and reserved for the debut of Arden Upton's House & Garden UK Collection. It is now being released publicly for the very first time alongside two additional large-format originals celebrating the international feature. THE STORY BEHIND THE ART The Orangerie Collection is inspired by memories that span generations and continents. As a child, some of my happiest afternoons were spent in South Florida with my grandmother, peeling fragrant oranges picked fresh from local trees while sitting beside the pool. Years later, walking through the magnificent gardens of Versailles, I discovered the historic French orangeries—sun-filled spaces created to shelter citrus trees through the seasons. Those experiences became the foundation for this collection. Painted with expressive gestures and vibrant layers of oil, this work celebrates abundance, hospitality, and the beauty of gathering around a table filled with fresh fruit, family, and conversation. The cascading branches and glowing oranges are meant to evoke sunshine throughout the year, bringing a feeling of warmth and optimism into every space they inhabit. This painting remained in my private collection following its debut in 2025, reserved for the launch of my House & Garden UK Collection in conjunction with my feature in House & Garden UK. Its release marks the first opportunity for collectors to acquire one of the signature large-format originals from this milestone collection.
