Blue Lemonade II Original Oil Painting | 36 × 48 inches Created for Arden Upton's House & Garden UK feature, Blue Lemonade II is one of only three signature original oil paintings released in this exclusive collection. Bathed in soft blue skies and cascading lemon branches, this original celebrates abundance, light, and the effortless beauty of citrus gardens. Rich layers of oil paint and expressive brushwork create a timeless statement piece that brings warmth, optimism, and refined elegance into the home. THE STORY BEHIND THE ART There is something timeless about a lemon tree. Its bright fruit, fragrant blossoms, and graceful branches have long symbolized warmth, abundance, and hospitality—an invitation to gather, linger, and savor life's simplest moments. Blue Lemonade II was inspired by those feelings: afternoons spent outdoors, sunlit gardens in the South of France, homemade lemon desserts shared around the family table, and the quiet beauty found in everyday rituals. Painted with expressive brushstrokes and luminous layers of oil, the cascading branches seem to float across a soft blue sky, creating a sense of movement, lightness, and optimism. I wanted this painting to feel like opening the windows on the first warm day of spring—a breath of fresh air that fills a room with joy. Blue Lemonade II is one of only three signature original oil paintings released as part of my House & Garden UK Collection. Although it made its first appearance during my private Designer Luncheon in 2025, I chose to reserve it from public sale until the launch of this collection in celebration of my feature in House & Garden UK. Whether displayed on its own or alongside its companion citrus paintings, Blue Lemonade II was created to bring beauty, light, and a sense of welcome into the places we call home.
